Post Birthday

I thought that celebration or should I say Thanksgiving is over. Oh well, here’s a post celebration with my family at Wet and Wild LaVista, Pansol, Laguna last July 16 and 17. The resort is nestled between Laguna Lake and Mount Makiling.

We initially planned for an overnight stay at Bato Spring, San Pablo, Laguna when we changed our minds at the last minute so we resorted in staying at La Vista.

At 2 AM in the morning, I was at the kitchen preparing our food. We are not sure if there are restos nearby so better to be safe in bringing packed-lunch that will satisfy our growling stomachs by the time we reach Laguna.

It was just 2.5 hour drive from Angeles City. We exited at SLEX Calamba and the place was just easy to find considering that it was just our first time to go here. It only took around 30 minutes after exiting at Calamba.

Let me tour you at La Vista......

This is Wet and Wild Pool Area of La Vista. There is an additional P130 entrance fee per head if you prefer to plunge in this pool (aside from the P100 entrance fee that you pay upon entering the resort) together with the rest of the 4 or 5 pools (if I am not mistaken). However, if you are staying overnight, you only get to pay P100 per head and this is good from the time that you checked-in to checking out the next day.

The slides which I find enticing but did not have the guts to try. (I am A-C-R-O-P-H-O-B-I-C. Thanks but NO thanks. LOL!)

The mini bar where you are not allowed to eat or drink. LOL! But I find it so cute just seeing it standing in the middle of the pool. If you're tired doing all the swimming strokes, you get to sit on these pebbled bar-like circular chairs which are 3/4 submerged in water. Note the amazing scenic view of Mt. Makiling...Simply Amazing!

You just have to pass this bridge if you would like to go at the mini-bar without getting yourself all soaked up! (In this picture is my only brother and his only kiddo aka spongebob boy)

Unlike the big pool which has warm water, this covered pool also named Enchanted Volcano has cold. These two pools will give you free contrast baths which will save you few bucks instead of getting the service from Spa Clinics. I din't try this too. Aside from being Acrophobic, I am also Claustrophobic (Who the hell invented these phobias??? LOL!)

One of the cottages near the pool where you can leave your foodies and eat.

One of the 2 "Free" pools located at the right side of the information / resort lobby.

In this picture is my youngest sister.

Aside from the pools which I was not able to upload due to lack of time, the resort has mini golf course, island bar, tennis and basketball courts, picnic huts and offers Zipline Adventure that is 120 meters long. It is priced at P150 for your first gamble-for-life slide (LOL) and P50 for the succeeding escapades :0)

Till our next trip!
