Team 406 Get Together Breakfast

We were all Chat Consultants in 2006 - Chary, Bianca, Joan, Jeng, Eleusis, Zhay, Je-Ann, Shey, Jhen, Joyce, Frances, Mellan, Pao and Me. I call it a unique but awesome team because unlike others who only had one Coach (counterpart of Supervisor); Team 406 was handled by 3 coaches - Coach Ghet, Coach Joan and Coach Jenny. It was named 406 by Coach Ghet who happened to be the first coach because it was "established" April 2006. The department had a game that time and we need to come up with a team name and so Team 406 was derived.

From 2006, few have already resigned from the company. Jeng is now in Dubai. While Eleusis is working in another call center. Zhay, Shey, Mellan and Frances remained in billing chat while Joyce and Anjie transferred to another department. Pao and I are both in QA now. As for the Coaches, Ghet and Jenny are both in one department but not in Billing anymore. Coach Joan had a great chance of being able to work from home. As she claims, she's thrice a manager - having one of the best "paying job" with the convenience of not being tied up with the so-called "working hours". I admire her a lot for various reasons (she doesn't even know that I do because I never told her that). She is a woman of substance; quick-witted, outspoken, unrestrained and most of all adventurous.

The Coaches:


It has been almost 4 years when Team 406 was born and up to now, the good bonding that we've put together since then is still present among us. Two weeks ago, we've decided to have a mini "breakfast get together party". Zhay sent an email to all Team 406 since this our easiest way of communication. Almost everyone (and so we taught) agreed that since Saturday is the most common day off among us and everyone would be coming from the graveyard shift, we set the breakfast to that day.

Came Saturday, at 7AM in the morning we were heading towards Picnic Ground in Clark and yours truly is the driver.

THE Food: Tacos (made by me, of course!LOL), tinapa (smoked fish), mustasa (mustard leaves), chicharon or pork rind (AKA pork scratchings in UK, cracklings in US and Grattons in France), salted egg. We also had maja blanca and bananas for dessert. I was so eager to eat because I am already hungry.

We packed up at 10:30 in the morning. Since we were not able to munch all the food, some of us had our own take-outs. All of us had so much fun despite the lack of sleep; not to mention how energetic still others are. All of them decided to go home except for Chary, Joyce, Anjie and Me. We went to Marquee Mall after to continue the chitchat :o)
