Mega Bonding at Megamall

Last Sunday, we really had good bonding moments. Actually it was only during midweek that we decided to go to a place where everybody will enjoy. And so, we thought of going to Megamall. We originally decided that it will be a day of mall hopping and make sure to also drop by at MOA and Trinoma after going to SM Megamall but time did not permit which is why we end up roaming all day at the Megamall.

We arrived at around 11 in the morning. The traffic was too heavy. I assumed that there were 5 flights of car park but it was almost impossible to get a open space. It's a good thing that the car park was color coded, meaning, if the light above the space is green then that is vacant while if it's already occupied, it turns automatically to red. Unfortunately, there is "Red Alert" meaning almost all of the spaces were filled.

Bebe was the one who drived to Manila. While we were looking for a vacant parking space, I advised my sisters and brother to go ahead at Dad's/Saisaki/Kamayan to get a reservation. However, since it was almost 12 and lunch is being served until 12:30 only, we decided to have light brunch and take the buffet at 6PM, just in time for an early dinner.

Bebe and I first went to Starbucks but since there are also no seats available, we decided to eat at Greenwich instead. My sisters and brother ordered coffee at Starbucks and decided to have lunch at Sizzling Plate.

They had window shopping while Bebe and I watched 2012. It was a good idea that we went to the movie house because my foot started to swell and that is a signal that I need to sit and rest for a while. We were not able to watch the start of the movie so we decided to stay after the 3:50PM preview.

At around 6PM, my brother sent a text message telling us that they are already at Saisaki and was just done with the reservation. Blessing in disguise that it was also at this time that we were able to complete the movie. So Bebe and I decided to go to Saisaki. While on our way, I can't wait to have that mega dinner. LOL!

For starters, we had:

Japanese Food (Bebe likes these a lot):

I prefer American Dish

For my first plate of viands (only 1 plate actually), I craved for Tempura, Ham with apple and cranberry sauce, just a slice of Pork Tonkatsu, Turkey with gravy and less than half cup of Seafood fried rice.

While my sister likes Italian more

They have different pastas. It's up to you if you wanna have seafood, chicken, pork or beef to go with your pasta.

My nephew was so amazed with the people because the resto was jam packed.

I carried my nephew while my sister-in-law is getting her own food.

For DESSERT:

You get to choose if you want chocolate, mocca or strawberry ice cream. Plus!!! There are about 7 toppings that you can sprinkle on top of your chosen ice cream.

If you have sweet tooth like me, you’ll enjoy their Brazo De Mercedes, Ube Cake, Vanilla Marble cake, Brownies and the mallows coated with chocolate which by the way is flowing from a sort of "chocolate falls machine". LOL.

Veggie Salad looks so fresh. And even if I am already full, can’t help myself not to get macaroni salad. They also have fruit and potato salad which unfortunately I was not able to try because there’s no more space left in my full stomach.

Time for picture taking :)

While the guests are having a sumptous dinner, they will be hopping from one table to another to sing your favorite or requested songs.

After almost an hour and a half, we decided to do a little of window shopping. After eating, my brother and sister-in-law decided to go to the car park since my nephew is starting with his tantrums. I have asked my 2 sisters to check where flip flops stall is so I can buy pair of slippers because my swollen foot starts to hit the back of my close shoes. Bebe and I went to People Are People where he bought me, my sisters and my mom a pair of slippers each.

At around 8PM, we decided to leave the mall. We dropped by at one of the gasoline stations to buy something for mom. Since she is not really into sweets, we decided to buy her Honey Glazed which by the way is also my favorite from Starbucks. Unfortunately, there were no more honey glazed left which is why we just had cinnamon swirl for mom.
