Sprained Fashionista

Since my foot was placed in a short leg cast last October 20, I spent most of my time at home particularly within the tranquility of my room (laughs). It’s very seldom that I get to go out, only when I have check ups with my Orthopedic Surgeon and on some days, if there are laboratory exams and tests that need to be done.

The other day was a different one. My siblings ask me to come along with them even if I will only be staying in the car. They were even laughing that I might grow tail and fangs because it’s been a month and a half since I got out of the house for some form of “leisure”. We went first to Valenzuela where my brother checked the computerized embroidery machine that he’s buying from one of the Chinese businessman there. My younger sister was also with us because she needs to find a cheaper hotel where she can stay for 3 days. Medical Technologists will be having a convention this coming Wednesday until Friday and one of their suppliers at the medical laboratory sponsored her expenses for the said convention except for the hotel accommodation. The venue is at the Manila Hotel and because it’s considered five star, the room rate per night is at P7000++ so she decided to have a reservation at a nearby cheaper hotel. Luckily, we were able to find a three start hotel just across Manila Hotel.

After we’re done since it’s still too early to go home, they decided to go to Makati. My nephew, who was also with us, was so happy when he saw the Christmas lights at the mall entrance. It’s a blessing also that we we’re able to get a good parking space which is just near an accessory and perfume outlets. Together with the help of my sister, I was able to manage to visit the 2 stores. I like accessories and perfumes which is why I can’t help myself not to buy few pieces.

And on our way home, we decided to eat at KFC NLEX (North Luzon Expressway). After that we bought 2 boxes of DQ and we had it on ice (1 box of ice cream sandwich and 1 box of Dilly Bar). That was our "pasalubong" to our youngest sister who was not able to come with us because she had a duty at JBL (Jose B Lingad Memorial Hospital)
