Screen Pass: An Energy Saver

In a call center industry, the administrator is not able to monitor all computers real-time. There are other agents who probably in their eagerness to take their timed breaks or wanting to go home early tend to leave their PCs unattended. Which is why Screen Pass is highly recommended not just in a call center industry business but also for those people whose main source of income are almost in the same field.

What exactly am I talking about and how does this feature helps the administrator a lot? Screen Pass is an auto logoff software for Windows® that extends the capability of the standard workstation lock and gives network administrators complete control over idle.

It works in such a way that after administrator defined idle period has exceeded, Screen Pass can be configured to automatically log off if the screen saver is running and inactivity continues past a second administrator defined timeout. The automatic log off can also be configured to occur after an admin defined time of day. During automatic log off unsaved changes in open applications are discarded. The automatic logout action can be set to logout, restart, shutdown, or powerdown. It doesn’t only save time; it definitely helps increase revenue in such a way making it a point to save money spent on paying additional electric bills.
