A Happy Day with Bebe

Yesterday was a happy day with bebe (Bebe is our term of endearment). After few weeks of not being in "good terms", finally, we're A Okay :) He was at the house around 7:30 in the morning to pick me up. We went straight to Bacolor to hear the 8 o'clock mass, which by the way he was informed that it was 8:30. We attended the mass at the San Guillermo Church, were "Santino", one of local TV series (or teleserye as they call it in tagalog) has been shooting since the time that it started airing on Philippine TV. It was also called "half-buried" church because it was stricken with lahar and mudflow during the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo in 1991.

We were there at 8:16, a bit late since the mass is already starting. One should not miss the first mass because it is the only mass celebrated every Sunday. The mass took more than an hour but it was one of the best I have ever heard. The homily was praiseworthy. It was so good because the priest was able to relate it with what's happening in reality.

After hearing mass, we went to Starbucks SM Pampanga for breakfast. Bebe ordered ham and cheese croissant and hot caramel macchiato

I had tuna dill sandwich and blended strawberries n cream. We had lots of stories to tell, probably because it's been few weeks that we hadn't had communication. Before 12nn, we decided to leave the place. I bought her mom an Ube Macapuno cake from Red Ribbon while he was getting his car at the car park; that is also for me not to walk much anymore because he was a bit worried too that my ankle would be sprained again.

When we were at the car, he asked me if there's any other place that I would like to go or visit. He said he is my driver for the day; a very handsome driver indeed!!LOL. We passed by a flower shop at Sto. Entierro to buy 4 bouquets of yellow Malaysian mums. They were for my dad. I asked bebe if we could drop by at Holy Mary memorial since I haven't visited my dad for couple of months now. I also bought bebe a red rose, saying "Thank You" while giving it to him. It still surprises him whenever I do that even if it's not the first that I've given him flowers; sometimes white but mostly, red. There were even instances that I gave him 3 roses. When we got there, I arrange the flowers for my dad and he helped too. I uttered a simple prayer and said bye to my dad.

We went at their house after that. We just spent almost half of the day chatting and watching TV. I also made it a point to tell him how much I missed him and he would give me a sweet smile. At around 7PM, we decided to have dinner out before he drops me home. We ate at Market Grill. He ordered Fillet Mignon (not so sure of the spelling. LOL) and chef salad while I had cordon bleu with mixed vegetables and potato salad. Because both of us are already stomach full, we decided to have the salad taken out. At around 830, I was home already.
