Grandma's Gift

We dropped by at my mom's salon last Thursday to check if there are supplies that need to order since holiday is fast approaching and there are more customers coming than usual. After that, we went straight to SM Clark for some groceries but decided to eat first at McDonalds.

When my brother and sister-in-law were just doing stall hopping, my mom texted me and asked if I can manage to walk at the second floor of SM Department store particularly at the Toy Kingdom section because she was overwhelmed by the colors and designs of the cars that were displayed there that she got confused on which one to buy.

She was so excited to buy my nephew a gift for Christmas. She was telling me about this gift since last month. It is a mini car but works more or less like a real car. It has headlights and tail lights that literally light when the car is moved forward or backward and comes with a seatbelt to secure the child in place.

It can be switched to manual meaning you need to step on the accelerator in order for it to move or automatic mode which is powered by a remote control. It has also MP3 socket so you can play songs the that you like. But of course, since it was really intended for toddlers, it has a knob in the middle of the steering wheel that plays different lullabies when pressed.

The first time that JoMi (Jose Miguel) sat in his car...still a bit afraid.

And before leaving the mall, because we were just parked near Starbucks, I thought of buying my favorite honey glazed doughnut - an irresistible temptation. Yumyum! LOL.
