At The Terrace
This Christmas tree has been with us since 1997. It was given by a good friend of my mom before she migrated to the United States. It was the same Christmas tree that we've been decorating since then. It lasted for more than a decade because we make sure that we clean it thoroughly with powdered soap and water before keeping it in a box. The stuffs that we hang are the ones that vary. About 5 or 6 years ago, my friend and I was able to find great deals at one of Duty Free shops here in Clark. We were able to buy Christmas balls (white balls with assorted designs of blue, pink and gold) worth P20 for a pack of 6!
You can use other Christmas décor to act as centerpiece if you have coffee tables at home
To make the ambience more "Christmassy", we used two tones for the curtains - yellow and red. They matched the Christmas tree, decors and Santa Clauses nicely. They were used at the Dining and Living Area
The Santa Clauses that were displayed in the house were bought by mom 4 years ago. Some of them got literally smaller not because of any miracles (LOL) but because the woods that were used probably shrunk a bit. Nevertheless, they still look LOVELY! (as the British would say when they see something beautiful)
This is a gift from my mom’s boss when my parents had their 27th Anniversary, I guess. It was bought from Home World. It has 3 layers of clear empty containers that look like a vase that comes with a stand. Instead of placing the long beads at the Christmas tree, I just looped them around the container and placed glittered covered leaves on each of them. Viola! You have another Christmas décor
Advance Merry Christmas to all Jackie's Angels out there!
